I know most posts on tumblr are somewhat meaningless in a sense, but tonight I finally watched this documentary that I’ve been wanting to see for months. (It’s streaming instantly on Netflix for any of you that have it.) It brought me to tears, and maybe it’s because of my interest in the field of education, but I’d like to think that the average person will be, too. There is so much going on around our country when it comes to children and the education system that we don’t know about, and this will give you a little bit of insight into the matter. More people need to be aware, need to invest concern, need to spread the message. Education matters, and there are many children that aren’t getting the foundation they deserve.
